CRAWLSPACE DRAINAGE SYSTEM WITH SUMP PUMP SYSTEM 1. Excavate area alongside footing of foundation wall and install geo tech filter fabric for silt. 2. Drill weep holes in bottom block to drain water from wall and into system. (for block walls only) 3. Install (84 ) linear feet of 4” pipe and gravel drain system to catch water at the footing level and channel it to a sump system. 4. Install one sump system, to include: cast iron constructed ½ hp sump pump with built in elevated platform, sealed sump lid, back flow valve, discharge line and high water alarm (see drawing for location). Electrical outlet provided by ESOG 5. Install energy star rated Aprilair 070 dehumidifier. Electrical provided by ESOG 6. Extend discharge line (15') from foundation to a pop-up outlet. 7. Cover all exposed earth with 20-MIL vapor barrier. 8. Clean work area and remove all construction related debris. NOTES: System carries a transferrable life of the structure warranty. Waterproofing warranty covers area where drain is installed if additional leakage occurs outside of treated area additional repairs will be required at additional cost. See terms and conditions for additional notes. INSTALL (1) FOUNDATION PIERS WITH SUPPLEMENTAL FOOTING 1. Have utilities marked by locating service. Locating service marks from street to meter. If any private utilities are suspected in the work area, a private locating service must be contracted by owner. ESOG may provide recommendation upon request. 2. Excavate area and install supplemental footing 3. Prep footing and attach foundation brackets for each pier under center load of footing. 4. Drive foundation piers up to 21’ through poor soil to load bearing strata (see terms and conditions on page 2 for additional charges assessed if piers advance past 21’). 5. Transfer load to piers to stabilize foundation against any further settlement. 6. Secure piers and backfill holes. 7. Clean work area and remove all construction related debris. Notes: See terms and conditions for additional information. The client must be present during a lift because the process may cause cosmetic damage to wall. The magnitude of the lift is proportional to the amount of damage caused by the process. Repairs of any consequential damages caused by the lift are not included in this contract and are the responsibility of the owner. A quote for such repair may be provided upon request.
