CRAWLSPACE DRAINAGE SYSTEM WITH SUMP PUMP SYSTEM 1. Engineered Solutions is to have a licensed plumber install a water heater pan under existing water heater. 2. Install (2) small retaining walls, (2 blocks high) in crawlspace/mechanical room. (1) connecting chimney to foundation wall, and (1) separating living space from crawlspace/mechanical room. 3. Excavate area alongside footing of foundation wall and create a trench. 4. Install geo-tech filter fabric for silt into newly created trench. 5. Drill weep holes in bottom block to drain water from wall and into system. 6. Install (60 ) linear feet of 4” pipe and gravel drain age system to catch water at the footing level and channel it to a sump system. 7. Install (1) sump system, to include: cast iron constructed ½ hp sump pump with built in elevated platform, sealed sump lid, back flow valve, highwater alarm, and app to monitor sump pump activity (see diagram for location). NOTE: See terms and conditions for additional information. *System carries a transferable life of the structure warranty at no additional cost. Waterproofing warranty covers area where drainage system is installed. If additional leakage occurs outside of treated area additional repairs will be required at additional cost. INSTALL NEW FOUNDATION WALL 1. Prep area and cover personal items with plastic as needed. 2. Remove drywall from ceiling where needed to expose floor joists of the main floor. 3. Temporarily support (temp-shore) outer (3) foundation walls of basement. 4. Remove drywall and framing approximately 4’ high from front and side foundation walls (below windows). 5. Remove 16’ of drywall and framing approximately 8’ high of rear foundation wall, and approximately 4’ high of the remaining wall (below window). 6. Create a 1’x1.5’ footer around the interior of foundation wall. 8. Install (1) dedicated electrical outlet at sump pump location. 9. Extend discharge line (16 ‘) f rom foundation to a pop-up outlet.

7. Install a new 8x8x16 CMU foundation wall grade high with a 4”cap block. 8. Reinstall framing and rest foundation wall onto new CMU block foundation wall. 9. Remove temporary supports.

NOTE: See terms and conditions for additional information. Homeowner is to have carpet pulled back and have 4’ of flooring removed prior to installation.
