CRAWLSPACE DRAINAGE SYSTEM WITH SUMP PUMP SYSTEM 1.

Excavate area alongside footing of foundation wall to create a trench. 2. Install geo-tech filter fabric for silt into newly created trench. 3. Drill weep holes in bottom block to drain water from wall and into system. 4. Install (64) linear feet of 4” pipe and gravel drainage system to catch water at the footing level and channel it to a sump pump system. 5. Install (1) sump system, to include: cast iron constructed ½ hp sump pump with built in elevated platform, sealed sump lid, back flow valve, highwater alarm, and app to monitor sump pump activity (see diagram for location). 6. Install (1) dedicated electrical outlet at sump pump location. 7. Extend discharge line (16 ‘ ) from foundation to a pop-up outlet. NOTE: See terms and conditions for additional information. *System carries a transferable life of the structure warranty at no additional cost. Waterproofing warranty covers area where drainage system is installed. If additional leakage occurs outside of treated area additional repairs will be required at additional cost. Remove any debris from crawlspace floor. 2. Install (1) passive vent. 3. Seal all remaining vents from the inside using foam block insulation. 4. Wrap all cinder block columns with a reinforced 12-mil liner and seal the top edge. 5. Mechanically fasten a 12- mil reinforced liner to the top of foundation wall approximately 4” below framing using termination bar and an elastomeric sealer. 6. Install a dimpled delta matting to dirt crawlspace floor. 7. Install a 20-mil reinforced liner to cover all exposed earth, overlap all seams 16”, seal with seam weld and tape the free edge. 8. Install (1) commercial grade AprilAire EO70 energy star rated 70 pint per day dehumidifier/air-filtration system with discharge line tied into sump pump. 9. Clean work area and remove all construction related debris. NOTE: See terms and conditions for additional information. * Liner carries a life of structure warranty against rips or punctures. Dehumidifier/air filtration system carries a 5 year warranty. In a small percentage of encapsulations, due to organic decomposition, an unpleasant smell may be detected. In those cases, a soil gas mitigation system will need to be installed at additional cost. Homeowner is to remove all personal items from crawlspace prior to installation.
