TEMPORARY SHORING / EXCAVATION / NEW FOOTINGS AND FOUNDATION / SEAL PLATE AND RIM BAND

1. Temporary support walls around permitter and inner walls as needed 2. Excavate entire area (650sf) down approximately 30" for code on height above grade to floor joists and accessibility after completion for any future problems with electrical, plumbing, hvac, etc... 3. Pour new 18" x 18' x 14" deep footings (see drawing) approximately 87' with rebar, 1 block high with cap block 4. Remove and replace portion of existing seal plate and rim band with new seal plate and rim band (see drawing) straps or brackets securing NOTE: This price does not include hauling off excavated dirt. Per conversation with customer, he wishes to have dirt left at job site. If dirt is to be hauled away, a change order to do so will be submitted to customer for approval. ESOG warrants material and workmanship for 1 year. This contract does not include removing of rock if exposed from digging. If rock is hit and depending on the amount , customer will be notified with price on removing or an alternate solution if available before proceeding. All floors to be broken free from rim band, this is to be done by others. All floors, sub-floor and floor joist to be removed by others. Customer will have opening made for access of little excavator for digging up crawlspace. See terms and conditions. 25% deposit due upon confirmation. CRAWLSPACE DRAINAGE SYSTEM WITH SUMP PUMP SYSTEM 1. Excavate area alongside footing of foundation wall and install geo tech filter fabric for silt. 2. Drill weep holes in bottom block to drain water from wall and into system. (for block walls only) 3. Install (110 ) linear feet of 4” pipe and gravel drain system to catch water at the footing level and channel it to a sump system. 4. Install one sump system, to include: cast iron constructed ½ hp sump pump with built in elevated platform, sealed sump lid, back flow valve, discharge line and high water alarm (see drawing for location). Customer is responsible for installation of electrical outlet to operate pump if one is not available. 5. Extend discharge line (15‘) from foundation to a pop-up outlet. 6. Cover all exposed earth with 12-MIL vapor barrier. 7. Clean work area and remove all construction related debris. NOTES: System carries a transferrable life of the structure warranty. Waterproofing warranty covers area where drain is installed if additional leakage occurs outside of treated area additional repairs will be required at additional cost.
