PRESSURE GROUT TO DENSIFY SUBGRADE SOILS FROM APPROX. 25’ BEYOND TOE OF WALL FRPM STA 1+80.0 – STA 5+60.0 TO APPROX 10’ BEYOND FRONT OF BUILDINGS 78-84
1. Provide Pressure Grouting repair plan 2. Layout grout injection locations approx. 5’ on center throughout effected area to be stabilized (Approx. 380’ X 100’ – Approx. 1,440 locations). 3. Drive/Drill the injection rods (Grout Casings) through poor soil to suitable load bearing strata (estimated average depth of 40’-0”). 4. Force grout under pressure in 12” lifts to compact soil, build grout columns and fill any voids. 5. Estimated grout take is 70,500 cu. ft. based on industry standard calculations. Additional Grout, if required will be billed at $24.00 per cubic foot above the estimated volume stated above. The minimum daily charge is $3,400. 6. Patch drilled holes in slab(s) using non- shrink grout. 7. Clean all construction related debris. The adequacy of a structural lift is highly subjective and outcomes are difficult to predict. Results are based on the “feel” of the floor. Our goal is to minimize the perception of slopes that previously could be felt in discrete areas of the floors and to attempt to correct functional problems such as jamming doors. The client must be present during a lift because the process will likely cause cosmetic damage to various interior and exterior finishes. The magnitude of the lift is proportional to the amount of damage caused by the process – more lift, more possible damage. The client should weigh the repair costs of resulting damage against the feel of the floors when deciding if the process should cease. Repairs of consequential damage caused by the lift are not included in this contract and are the responsibility of the owner. A quote for such repair may be provided upon request. ESOG will stop the lift when our experience tells us that the potential for damage outweighs the possibility of additional lifting. If the client chooses to continue against our advice we will continue at the owners direction with absolutely no liability for damage whatsoever. LIFTING ADDENDUMWHEN RAISING FOUNDATIONS:
