INSTALL (5) KEVLAR / CARBON FIBER WALL BRACING STRAPS TO STABILIZE REAR CMU FOUNDATION WALL IN BASEMENT: 1. Remove section of drop ceiling as needed. 2. Grind clean a section of the block wall 5.5 inches wide from top of wall to floor elevation. 3. Install top restraint bracket mechanically fastened to rim joist. (3 -left straps) 4. Apply a base coat of epoxy. 5. Embed carbon fiber weave into wet epoxy and remove air to cure. 6. Mortar cracks in CMU buttress ’ on right foundation wall. INSTALL (2) PERMANENT STEEL SUPPORT COLUMNS TO INCLUDE FOOTINGS WITH 12 ” TOP PLATES TO PROPERLY SUPPORT MAIN GIRDER BEAM IN BASEMENT: 1. Excavate form and pour (2 ) new 18”x18”x1 4 ” steel reinforced poured in place 3,000 psi concrete footing LEVEL WITH EXISTING SLAB . 2. Install (2) code compliant, schedule 40 steel support columns with screw adjuster, 12 ” top cap and bottom plate. 3. Install blocking and joist hangers where main girder beam meets basement stairs. 4. Clean up all construction related debris.
