INSTALL STEEL (10) SUPPORT COLUMNS TO INCLUDE FOOTINGS WITH MID SPAN BEAM 1. Excavate areas to form and pour (10) ne w 18”x18”x1 2 ” steel reinforced poured in place 3,000 psi concrete footings. 2. Install (10) code compliant schedule 40 steel support columns with screw adjuster, top cap and bottom plate. 3. Construct and install (26 and 26) linear feet of new triple 2X8 mid span support beam secured with Trusslok screws in a staggered pattern. 4. Secure top plates to beam and anchor base plates to footings. 5. Secure new beam to existing floor joists with Simpson H2.5A clips (Hurricane ties). 6. Transfer load to adjustable columns and mid-span beam to stabilize flooring against any further settlement. 7. Clean work area and remove all construction related debris. NOTE: See terms and conditions for additional information. Engineered Solutions is to permanently stabilize only. No attempt to lift. *Warranty is for the life of the structure and is transferable upon new ownership at no additional cost. Homeowner is to remove shelving, all personal items, and duct work in (3) locations prior to installation. Engineered Solutions can recommend a hvac contractor upon request.
