WATERPROOFING AND BLOCK WALL REPAIR PLAN WITH SUMP PUMP 1. Prep area and cover personal items with plastic as needed. 2. Cut sheetrock, as needed, and temporarily support the existing floor framing system. 3. Cut stud framing and OSB, as needed, to extend foundation wall. . 4. Remove section of concrete floor (slab) to expose footing. 5. Construct new block wall to exceed the existing grade level. Dowel rebar into footing and fill cells with concrete. Top of wall 8. Install a vapor barrier mechanically fastened and sealed to the foundation wall above the exterior grade level and sealed at the floor drain flange to catch any leakage through the wall above the floor level and channel any condensation to floor drain. 9. We will have electrician install an outlet for the sump pump. 10. Install one sump system, to include: cast iron constructed ½ hp sump pump with built in elevated platform, sealed sump lid, back flow valve, discharge line and highwater alarm and Pump Spy Smart Outlet (see drawing for location). 11. Extend discharge line (52') from foundation to a pop-up outlet. 12. Install inspection ports in system and replace section of concrete floor. 13. Seat stud wall on new block wall. 14. Remove temporary supports. 15. Clean work area and remove all construction related debris. NOTES: Please see terms and conditions for additional information. • We assume a conventional construction with independent footing and slab. Should a unconventional construction method been applied other fees would be required. • Scope of work and cost does not allow for any unforeseen situations that may arise. If any unforeseen situations are found and changes are required, ESOG will consult with homeowner before any decisions and/or changes are made. • Waterproofing system carries a no fee, fully transferable life of the structure warranty. • Waterproofing warranty covers area where drain is installed. Should additional leakage occur, outside of treated area, additional repairs will be required at an added cost. • Client will need to have the cabinets removed in the kitchenette before we begin our work. • We are not responsible for finished floors. • Homeowner is to ensure any new framing is not nailed into new concrete slab when re-finishing basement. must be at least 8" above grade. New wall will be 24" tall with a 4" cap block. 6. Drill weep holes in bottom block to drain water from wall and into system. 7. Install (37) linear feet of interior subfloor drain system to catch water below the floor level.
