Note: All repair work shall be installed per the 2018 International Residential Code including the Georgia adopted amendments. If requested detailed professional engineer stamped framing repair and remodel drawings can be prepared as additional scope of work. OPTION: $5517.35 (not included in proposal price). Extend foundation and install drain line for wall adjacent to entry door. A trench drain could be installed on the inside of the entry door. The trench drain would be an exposed drain to catch water coming in under the door frame. Or we could also install a feeder line on the inside of the door. The feeder line would not be an exposed drain and would transfer water from one side of the door to the other allowing the water to flow to the sump pump. Trench drains have a capacity, and if that capacity is exceeded due to rain fall or debris in the line, a leak may occur and is not covered under the warranty. Trench drains need to be kept clean and free of debris.
